As you may know I am new to this sight as well as the official geocaching.com sight. Both very informative.
Does the official geocaching.com sight go down alot?
It has been down 3 times in the last 2 months. This is the worst I have seen it. I have been trying to get on the sight for close to 3 hours today with no luck. It is not a matter of speed because I am broadband and I am able to obviosly browse other sight sights like this one.
Has anyone experianced the same with the geocache.com sight?

Well they *do* go down, as do a lot of internet sites, due to lack of infrastructure or redundancy in equipment (basically a lack of foresight and proper planning)
