Did new pocket query last night and it's STILL not working.

This is what I do. I just don't understand why it's not working. I download MyFinds. It takes like 5-10 mouse clicks for it to take. I go to my email. Download it into my "Downloads" folder. I open up itsnotaboutthenumbers page. I hit browse and find the download. I select the file I just downloaded and it goes beserk.

So frustrated. The Cheeseheads read my thread on Groundspeak and posted something on INATN about being in maintenance mode but nothing has changed. I even offered to donate $ to their Paypal if I could get it fixed.

And can't figure out Gsak.

The site is working fine now.

Perhaps the problem is in how you

download MyFinds. It takes like 5-10 mouse clicks for it to take. I go to my email. Download it into my "Downloads" folder.

Email me with detailed steps as to how you do the downloads and I'll try to spot the error(s).

Tina,

Laptop? Bring it to the next SRTC event so we can all take a look-see.

If not a laptop, then can you save your PQ onto a flash stick?

Pete, I was thinking of doing the same thing. Won't be at October's because it's on Tony's birthday, but maybe November.

Maybe you could forward you PQ to someone else on here and they could look it over to see if something is missing or even generate the info via GSAK that you want for temporary fix. I'd be glad to do this as I'm sure others would.

So you're NOT going to bring him so we can all celebrate singing Happy Birthday and embarrassing the snot out of him?

BUMMER!

Thanks for uploading it for me! smile.gif After I opened the link which worked, I tried to do it on my own and couldn't duplicate the same amount of finds. I uploaded the latest zip and for some reason it reverted back to my August PQ. So I started to get frustrated all over again. BUT oddly enough until I clicked on the link you gave me, it was always giving me those bogus numbers. But even after I cleared the cache (temp files/cookies), it still recognized my gpx file whereas it didn't before. bang head.gif wacko.gif

But something made me realize that it might be my laptop causing the problems so I tried it on my desktop and VOILA! It works on my desktop. I can't remember if it ever DID work on my laptop, so who knows. I don't know WHY it doesn't work on there. Doesn't matter. I'm not gonna try and figure it all out. Just gonna use the desktop from now on.

Phew! Glad to have a solution. Thanks all for your advice!
