On a beautiful January day when the weather was in the 60's a group of cachers headed east on mission to see Geo-Sarge get his 9,000 find. This was no ordinary cache it was the Eternal Flame Earthcache in Chestnut Ridge Park.
The hike back to the falls was full of adventure and laughs. When we arrived at the falls the flame behind it was not lit. With the recent rise in temperature the water was flowing at a really high rate. We tried for about half an hour to get the flames lit but it wasn't to be. However seeing a friend reach a new milestone in caching, and trekking through the woods with a great group of people is what its all about.
So lets give a big shout out to Geo-Sarge on reaching 9,000 finds!!
