Here's a Cleveland Plain Dealer article I just came across about volksmarching. I've heard of it before and thought it would be a fun alternative to geocaching for a day.

As you can tell, this coin is different. This is a MIZPAH type of coin and is intended for you to give the other half to a geochum. The tracking number will be located on both halves of the coin and when the coins are together will attract since both halves will have a small but powerful magnet. Both silver and gold metals will be available.
Google's news aggregator searches over 4500 English language newspapers worldwide and allows you to pull up articles based on easy searches. Once a week or so I'll search for geocaching there to see what's making mainstream news about our favorite game. The articles are usually light in nature but often show the kind of positive press that caching is getting.

We have decided to take a different approach to the news on the front page of geochums.com. The idea is that all geochums can help update the front page by providing links to the latest and greatest news. If you are familiar with sites like digg.com you will certainly see where the inspiration came from.

This is the fourth annual Fall Fling hosted by the LoCo Geocachers. This is for all of our friends in Northern Ohio bringing the NEO and NWO together in the middle. Of course, We would love to have cachers from all over attend, too.
