We have become pretty good at moving the geochums servers around, and I think this one has gone pretty smooth. However, it seems with a server move some path, some place, in some script is always missed. Let us know if we have missed anything.

Ever wonder what happened to the money from the geocoins? We took it and got us a premium web host! The new server is not cheap, but it is supposed to be one of the best providers available. No, it isn't geocities or AOL :)
I figured we would make the move with the web site in it's current configuration to see if we get a speed improvement. Chumley will actually make the move since I will be traveling on Friday.
When the change takes place you will see a small page stating the web site is moving. When this happens, we have repointed to the new server. Unfortunately, because of the nature of the Internet... it may take some time before your ISP knows the server is in a different spot. Could be a full 48 hours. Although most of you will see it within a few hours.

The commonly known Seven Ancient Wonders of the World were all man-made monuments, selected by Philon of Byzantium in 200 B.C. Today, only the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt remain.
His selection of wonders was essentially a travel guide for fellow Athenians, and the stunning sites were all located around the Mediterranean basin, the then-known world.
The monuments he chose, to be remembered in perpetuity, were:
* The Lighthouse of Alexandria
* The Temple of Artemis
* The Statue of Zeus
* The Colossus of Rhodes
* The Hanging Gardens of Babylon
* The Mausoleum of Halicarnassus
* The Pyramids of Egypt
All had been built between 2,500 B.C. and 200 B.C.
Now, through the New 7 Wonders campaign, we all can be a part of selecting the NEW 7 WONDERS of the WORLD!
