New 2006 Geocache Ohio geocoins

Submitted by, TeamDotOne 12/3/06 @ 10:49 pm
I really enjoy GeoCoins, and to that end, one of the places we deal with came out with this release note that i thought everyone might enjoy!!

"The 2006 Geocache Ohio geocoin began development in April 2006 with an idea that a large 3D geocoin of the state might actually show people that Ohio has a lot of different terrain to geocache in. We added the paths of the two historic canal systems that played a vital role in the establishment of many of Ohio's towns and cities." (geocoinstore.com)

Yet another website that involves the use of the GPS. A photograph captures a particular place at a particular time. With GPS Photography and GEOsnapper.com, you can easily share the photo as well as its location.

OK, the geocoins are in and I have to say they are the coolest coins in the collection. There is still some available, but not a lot.

When do we run out of cache codes?

Submitted by, 4agers - Ed 11/16/06 @ 6:44 am
OK, we all know by now that we aren't really going to run out. But, there is a pool on geocaching.com on when exactly the current numbers will run out.

It's not about the numbers
